The Junior Golf Development Program
The TGS Junior Golf Development Program is designed for juniors of all skill levels between the ages of 3 – 18 years, providing a unique learning experience for each junior individually. Our comprehensive curriculum provides a holistic approach to the development of the sport of golf; encompassing development of fundamental movement skills (athletic development), golf skill development (becoming a golfer), history, theory, etiquette and rules of golf.

Throughout the Junior Golf Development Program, our main goals are to develop each child as an individual to enhance their individual ability to become an elite athlete and golfer as well as to maintain the element of fun during the training. We also target ‘Windows of Trainability’ by determining where a child is in their development. ‘Windows of Trainability’ are sensitive periods in every child’s life where certain fundamental and sports skills can be learned at an accelerated rate.
We strive to ensure that the juniors play and train in a safe environment to reduce the risk of injury that may occur and to keep the child engaged in the sport for a longer period of their life.

How We Conduct The Program
At Total Golf Solutionz Junior Golf Development Program, we ensure that we provide each student with the knowledge and skills to play the sport of golf. Our curriculum from the beginning covers basic knowledge and skills to develop their fundamentals of the set-up, swing, theory, history, etiquette & rules of golf while also introducing them to the basic fitness for injury prevention. As our students ‘graduate’ to their next levels, we continue to work with their development and progress their skills to involve further swing & set up development, introduce course management skills, club selection, performance & mental toughness development and more.
Our structured lessons are held at our facility, which is located on 3rd Parklands Avenue. On course lessons are provided as a supplement to the development as our students progress through their classes.
Students who enroll into our development program are given theory & practical homework assessments. At the end of the term they are given theory & practical tests too. A report is sent to the parents at the end of each term.
Our goal is to give the child the best opportunity to develop a solid foundation in a friendly environment, whilst giving them the chance to put their skills and knowledge to test on the golf course.
